The Red Sox re-upped left-handed reliever Rich Hill (of Milton, Mass.) to a minor league pact. In 2011, Hill pitched eight scoreless innings (12 Ks) before being shut down for Tommy John surgery in June.Hill has a 4.73 ERA over seven seasons with Boston, the Cubbies and the Orioles.
