Our 1904 Appeal To Selig

Exactly six years ago today, we wrote to MLB Commissioner Bud Selig asking him to award the Red Sox franchise the 1904 World Series Championship. That year, the National League champion New York Giants refused to play the upstart 1903 World Champs in the scheduled second Fall Classic. Sounds like a forfeit to us! Anyway, Bud—in his typical fashion—patronized our request (click on above photo to enlarge) and never did anything about it. We still think we should have that 8th World Series Title.
