So, the Red Sox will almost certainly face the same opening round scenario that they did last year—three games in The Concrete Bunker On 161st Street. Major League Baseball needs to address this silly format—and allow the lesser Wild Card team at least one home game of the three.
The Red Sox will like throw Payton Tolle in the opener (against Northeastern University alum Cam Schlittler). Game 2 will see The Carmine Hose send Ranger Suarez to the hill and Game 3 will feature Sonny Gray.
Oh, and did we mention the 3-run HR by Andover’s Mike Yastrzemski that secured the 4-2 win for the Braves? You can't make this stuff up!
