Early (but vigorous) voting in our latest
FenwayNation Poll shows that a plurality of readers (42%) favor a
strict platoon at 1B for
Hanley Ramirez and
Mitch Moreland in the wake of the
J.D. Martinez signing. As the chart shows, the next highest percentage of readers opt for
cutting or trading Hanley (26%)—the latter of which might be tough give the size of his contract for 2018. Next, 14% favor
starting Hanley most or all of the time, with almost as many (11%) choosing that same option for Moreland
starting most or all of the time. Just 6% want to
