The Red Sox will have no one to blame but themselves if they can't bury
The Bronx Embalmers by the end of the Summer.
Before the Labor Day holiday (September 4th), the two bitter rivals will face off
ten times—
three at Fenway and
seven at the
Concrete Bunker On 161st Street.
That's ten out of the next twenty-eight games with The Pinstriped Posers! With
Chris Sale making three of those ten starts, and the offense revitalized by
Rafael Devers and (former
Evil One)
Eduardo Núñez, Boston has a legitimate chance to put the pedal to the floor and seriously build on its narrow division lead. The end of Summer could very well spell the end for the Empire's chances. We can only hope!
