The New England Sports Network (NESN) is perhaps the most
rinky-dink regional sports network in America. As far as we can tell, they are the
only sports network broadcasting MLB games without a super-slo-mo capability. We're basically watching the same replay technology that
Ned Martin used. The network—owned by
John Henry–also routinely inflicts foreign soccer re-broadcasts on its viewers. In any event, NESN is touting it's "unparalleled" Spring Training coverage by televising a whopping
12 games (out of a possible 32). That means that New England viewers will miss 62% of Boston Spring Training contests. Nice coverage!
