Ryan Lavarnway is having a pretty good spring (.346)—and it will probably land him with another ballclub.
CSNNE's Sean McAdam reports that
the Red Sox are actively shopping the 26-year old backstop. Lavarnway has gotten some playing time at first base and DH in Grapefruit action, so his versatility is clearly being highlighted to other clubs by
The Carmine Hose. Despite the departure of
Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Lavarnway is blocked by
 A.J. Pierzynski and
David Ross on the big club, and
Christian Vazquez,
Blake Swihart and
Dan Butler in the minors. Lavarnway hit a solo HR yesterday and has already singled in today's game against
The Pinstriped Posers. Stay tuned!
