ESPN's 'Outside The Lines' made yet another damaging allegation against
Alex Rodriguez on Monday. A story by
T.J. Quinn and
Pedro Gomez asserts that
A-Rod paid for an attorney for Biogenesis Clinic head Anthony Bosch. In fact, two wire transfers were made
this year from Rodriguez to the lawyer—
Susy Ribero-Ayala—totalling as much as $75,000. The first transfer of $25,000 was accepted. The second—allegedly unsolicited—for $50,000 was returned. ESPN speculates that this information may comprise a big part of MLB's contention that Rodriguez obstructed the Biogenesis investigation.
