Players Union Hints At Stonewalling On Bans

Michael Weiner, the head of the Major League Baseball Players Association, stated today that any Biogenesis-related suspensions handed down by MLB will be challenged before an arbitrator. Functionally, then, neither Alex Rodriguez nor Ryan Braun (the widely rumored 'big kahunas' to be nailed) will have to serve their sentences this year. On top of that, Weiner wants MLB to withhold even announcing any bans until after the arbitrator (Fredric Horowitz) upholds the suspensions. What gall! So, the union enablers want reprobates like A-Fraud and Braun to represent them and the sport in 2013. How special!
